    I like the game mechanics for the recruiting system as it kind of simulates the reality of mustering a unit to full strength over time.

    The requirements of managing influence and loyalty also seems quite engaging and not one track towards warring your way to victory.

    Would be nice I think if war fervour can be influenced to a greater degree. I mean usually people can be stroked up if there was a perceived threat somewhere, or like the populace being denied food and their anger being diverted to war. There probably can be some push back mechanism such as an increased threat to rebellion, but at least that way, one can manipulate their subjects and push for objectives for a far longer time rather than to push, stop, peace, wait a few turns, war again, push.
